I am a teacher of literature as well as a housewife, as a result, along with the usefulness of poetry, I am acquainted with the importance and taste of all the tastes of poetry and food. They can get the feeling of it completely, be it my kitchen or my poetry. ‘Spandan’ is my first poetry collection, through this I have poetized my feelings and fantasies along with the unexpected ups and downs of my life, the worldly realities, the changing and corrupting social scenario and the felt pain of the global disaster (Corona). Tried to include in all the juices, in which many errors are possible. The effort I have made to mold the emotional state of my life’s countless joys and sorrows in the form of poetry, in my view, is my genetic quality. My father Late Pandit Bhagirath Nath Mishra, my brother Late Dr. Kamlesh Kumar Mishra and Dr. Satish Chandra Mishra (currently retired headmaster) have been eminent scholars and poets of Sanskrit and Hindi, the feeling of their affection and blessings is my path everywhere. Has been illuminating and will continue to do so. Despite having an atmosphere of literary and spiritual practice at home, I had never thought that I would share my creations with the readers, but now I am feeling very happy to share my poetry collection with you. – Dr. Priyambada Kumari Mishra

Authoress Dr. Priyambada Kumari Mishra was born on 5 August in Bakhtiyarpur, Patna, Bihar. The author’s father’s name is late Pt. Bhagirath Nathmishra and mother’s name is late Sati Devi Mishra. The authoress has achieved academic achievements of Acharya (Literature) M. A. (Sanskrit) Ph.D and is currently working as Assistant Professor (Literature) in Shri Ganesh Girivardhari Sanskrit Mahavidyalaya, Bakhtiyarpur (Patna). Many books of Dr. Priyambada have been published, in which Mahakavi Bhasa’s plays include Nari, Spandan (solo poetry anthology), Kavya Manjari, Udaan and Palash (poetry compilation), apart from this, poems are also published in various magazines and newspapers.
